Making biscuits out of spilt milk
A few years ago I got in trouble at my first job because my outfits were not work-approved attire. I was almost drawn to tears after that talk with my boss. I was fresh out of college and lived in casual clothing for the past 22 years. How could they expect the closet of a fresh graduate to simply change overnight on such a small salary?
Piece by piece, I built up my "collection" to include work appropriate clothing while still incorporating my personality. To help me catalog all of my safe-for-work wardrobe remixes, I created this blog. After all, there's no use crying over spilt milk.
